A Visual Designer Before a Shop Owner
Before I started working with Cerakote, I spent over twenty years in visual design and brand strategy. I worked with top digital agencies such as IBM and Deloitte Digital, and with clients including the National Cancer Institute and the U.S. Army, creating strong brand systems and digital campaigns.
I earned my MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, where I learned how to make things look and feel just right. Decades in visual design taught me to pay attention to what actually matters for each person I work with. I love getting hands-on and turning ideas into something real—every project is a chance to solve a puzzle and make sure the details fit you, not just the job. Lots of shops can spray on a coating, but what I do is real design—meaning your piece comes out with a story and a purpose, made just for you.

Design is essential.
Most shops treat Cerakote as a quick paint job. For me, it’s about solving a creative challenge—balancing color, finish, texture, and layout so your gear becomes an extension of you.
Process is everything.
No matter the project—big or small—I prep efficiently and with intent. My process is dialed in from years of practice, but what really matters is making sure the end result feels right for you.
Transparency over hustle.
You’ll always know what you’re getting, what it costs, and when it will ship before we start. There are no surprises and no unwanted upsells.

I’m trained and certified in H-Series and Elite Series Cerakote application. That means proper prep, proper technique, and a finish that adds durability.
FFL 07 — Licensed Manufacturer
My federal firearms license allows me to receive serialized firearms, perform gunsmithing services, and handle NFA-related work. I know the rules, and I operate within them.
Fiber Laser Engraver
Precision laser engraving on steel, aluminum, titanium, and polymer. ATF-compliant depth and character sizing for all NFA/SBR compliance markings.
